1. Who we are

PingFleet ("we", "the service") provides infrastructure monitoring at pingfleet.net. The service is operated and invoiced by:

Under art. 317 of the Romanian Fiscal Code we are registered for intra-Community transactions and are not a domestic VAT payer, so prices carry no VAT.

2. The service

We perform checks against targets you configure, from our own servers and from agents you install, and notify the destinations you configure when those checks change state.

Monitoring is a best-effort service. We do not guarantee that every outage is detected, that every alert is delivered, or that the service itself is continuously available. It is a tool that helps you notice problems; it is not a substitute for your own operational responsibility, and we do not accept liability for losses arising from an outage we failed to detect or report.

3. Your responsibilities

You may only configure monitors against systems you own or have permission to test. Monitoring traffic that is unwanted by its recipient is your responsibility, not ours, and we will act on credible abuse reports. See the abuse page.

You must not use the service to generate load intended to degrade a target, to scan address ranges, or to disguise the origin of traffic.

4. Accounts

Access is by a one-time code sent to your email address. You are responsible for the security of that mailbox: anyone who can read it can sign in as you.

5. The free plan is for personal use

The free plan is provided for personal projects, home infrastructure, learning and evaluation. It is not licensed for monitoring the production systems of a business, for use on behalf of clients, or for resale as part of another service.

We do not police this by counting monitors, and we would rather you evaluated us properly than rushed a decision. If the thing you are watching is something your customers depend on, it belongs on a paid plan, which is what pays for the locations, the alerting and somebody being awake to fix the service itself.

Paid plans carry no such restriction and may be used commercially without limit.

6. Plans and payment

Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe. You may cancel at any time from the billing portal; the account continues on the paid plan until the end of the period already paid for and then reverts to the free plan. We do not delete your data on downgrade, although limits of the free plan apply from that point.

7. Suspension

We may suspend an account that is generating abuse reports, attempting to reach systems it has no permission to test, or placing the service or our providers at risk. Where the situation allows it, we will contact you first.

8. Changes

We may change these terms. Material changes will be announced to the email address on the account before they take effect.

9. Law

These terms are governed by Romanian law, and the courts of Bucharest have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country of residence, and you may also bring proceedings there.
